The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is warning consumers not to drink any raw (unpasteurized) milk from Willow Marsh Farm in Ballston Spa because the unpasteurized raw milk could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. A sample of the raw milk taken by an inspector was found to have Listeria monocytogenes. On January 30, Willow Marsh Farm was notified of the preliminary test result, and the test was confirmed on February 4. Willow Marsh Farm has been banned from selling raw milk until it can be tested again and shown not to have Listeria monocytogenes. To date, no illnesses have been reported from the raw milk, said the Department. @ https://www.news10.com/news/saratoga-county/listeria-found-in-raw-milk-from-saratoga-county-farm/#:~:text=BALLSTON%20SPA%2C%20N.Y.,be%20contaminated%20with%20Listeria%20monocytogenes.
