Viva Raw Dog Food was recalled due to Salmonella & Listeria monocytogenes

Viva Pet Food recalled pet food after investigators showed that it was positive for Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes. The voluntary recall included products shipped to over 1,500 customers, specifically Viva Duck for Dogs (Chunked), with Lot number 22853. The investigation was sparked by a single customer complaint, which ultimately led to the discovery of both Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes. According to Viva Raw’s statement online, the product in question had the last shipment departing warehouses on Dec. 6, 2023. So far, only one customer complaint has been reported, and there have yet to be any other reports related to the contamination.  @ https://www.qualityassurancemag.com/news/viva-raw-dog-food-recalled-due-to-salmonella-and-listeria/#:~:text=The%20voluntary%20recall%20included%20products,for%20Dogs%20(chunked)%20product.&text=A%20pet%20food%20recall%20was,which%20came%20back%20as%20positive
