UNFI Recalls its Woodstock Frozen Organic Grilled Red Peppers due to Listeria monocytogenes

The FDA posted on its site that UNFI voluntarily recalled its 10-ounce packages of Woodstock frozen Organic Grilled Red Peppers because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The product comes in a 10-ounce plastic package and an expiration date of April 2020. The product was distributed nationally to retail stores. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. Routine testing by the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in the product.
