Tuffy’s Pet Foods recall of Pure Vita Salmon Entrée Dog Food in a Tetrapak carton due to elevated levels of vitamin D

The FDA reported that Tuffy's Pet Foods recalled approximately 1,600 cases of Pure Vita Salmon Entree Dog Food in a Tetrapak carton.  The recall was due to a notification from the product manufacturer of potentially elevated levels of Vitamin D. No reports of illness or injury have been reported from consumers to date.
