The USDA/FSIS issued an expansion to the BrucePac RTE meat due to Listeria monocytogenes

On October 15, 2024, the USDA/FSIS expanded the October 9, 2024 recall to include additional products and production dates. Details of this release were updated to note the addition of 1,779,040 pounds of product subject to recall, increasing the weight from 9,986,245 to 11,765,285 pounds. The massive meat recall has impacted hundreds of ready-to-eat meals sold at major grocery store chains across the U.S., including Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and Target. This recall release has also been updated to show that recalled products were distributed to schools.  Some products feature popular brands like Dole, Taylor Farms, Great Value, and Michelina’s.
