The Ripple Effect continues: Bakkavor Foods USA, Inc. Recalls Meat and Poultry Products due to Salmonella and Listeria Monocytogenes Contamination in Onions

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that Bakkavor Foods USA, Inc., of Carson, CA, Charlotte, N.C. and Jessup, PA is recalling approximately 795,261 pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products that contain an onion ingredient that may be contaminated with Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
