Supercan Bulk recalls a single lot of Pig Ear Slivers Pet Treats due to Salmonella

The FDA reported that Supercan Bulk (Miami, Florida) is recalling one lot of Supercan Pig Ear Slivers- Thick Cut Piggy Ear Slices pet treats in 500 piece bags, 15.9 oz, expiration date 11/09/2026, due to Salmonella contamination. The product comes in 15.9 oz bags with an expiration date of 11/09/2026, marked on the back side of the product. The health risk was discovered when samples of the product were collected on 03/04/2025 and tested by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. The product tested positive for Salmonella. The recalled lot of Supercan Pig Ear Sliver pet treats was distributed between 04/11/2024 in the North 40 store located in Washington State. No illnesses have been reported to date.
