Savencia Cheese USA recalled select soft ripened cheeses due to Listeria monocytogenes

The FDA reported that Savencia Cheese USA (New Holland, Pennsylvania) recalled ALDI, La Bonne Vie, and Market Basket branded Brie and Camembert Soft Cheeses from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled products include Emporium Selection Brie 12/8-ounce packages, Supreme Oval Cheese 7-ounce, 6/7-ounce packages, La Bonne Vie Brie Cheese, 6/8-ounce packages, La Bonne Vie Camembert Cheese, 6/8-ounce packages, Industrial Brie Cheese, 12/8-ounce packages, and  Market Basket Brie Cheese, 6/8-ounce packages. The products were manufactured at the Lena manufacturing facility. The products had limited regional distribution in the United States. The few retailers that received the product have been informed of this possible contamination and are removing products from shelves.
