Salsa sold at Kroger is being recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes

Salsa sold at Kroger is being recalled for possible Listeria contamination as part of a larger recall of peaches. JFE Franchise and Supreme LLC, which produced the salsa sold at Kroger, recalled the product on October 30 after being notified by its fruit supplier (Moonlight) of possible contamination with Listeria. Moonlight Companies initiated a recall on October 29 for California-grown conventional yellow and white peaches that may be contaminated with Listeria. The peaches were used to make the salsas produced by both manufacturers and supplied to Kroger locations. As of November 3, there have been no illnesses or consumer complaints reported to the FDA. @ https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/salsa-sold-at-popular-grocery-stores-in-illinois-other-states-recalled-for-listeria/3847868/?a
