Revel Brewing Pine Lime Sour Ale Beer was recalled in Australia due to secondary fermentation

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reported that Malt Brewing Co Pty Ltd., trading as Revel Brewing Co.(Bulimba, Brisbane, Queensland), recalled Revel Brewing Pine Lime Sour Ale Beer products from the Australian marketplace. The recall is due to suspected secondary fermentation and consequential exploding cans due to increased Carbon Dioxide production with risks of accidental alcohol intoxication, eye damage, and/or laceration. The recalled product, Pine Lime Sour Ale Beer, was sold in packs of four by 375 ml metal cans and sixteen (16) by 375 ml metal cans with a packaged-on date code of 27.1.2022.
