Alexander & Hornung recalls fully cooked pork products Due to Possible Listeria Contamination

The USDA/FSIS reported that Alexander & Hornung ( Clair Shores, Michigan, a business unit of Perdue Premium Meat Company, Inc.) recalled approximately 234,391 pounds of fully cooked ham and pepperoni products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The problem was discovered when the company notified FSIS that product sampling reported positive Listeria monocytogenes results. Outbreak Investigation of E. coli O157:H7 – Spinach (November 2021)

The FDA issued a summary of their investigation of E. coli O157:H7 in spinach. According to the CDC, as of November 15, 14 people have been reported ill in 9 states (: IA (1), IN (4), MI (1), MN (2), MO (1), NE (1), OH (1), PA (1), SD (1)). Great Lakes Goat Dairy brand Herb & Garlic Goat Cheese and Aged Cheddar Goat Cheese recalled in Canada due to Listeria monocytogenes

According to the CFIA, Great Lakes Goat Dairy (Wyoming, Ontario) recalls Great Lakes Goat Dairy branded Herb & Garlic Goat Cheese and Great Lakes Goat Dairy branded Aged Cheddar Goat Cheese products from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The CFIA Agency’s inspection activities triggered this recall. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. The recalled products are Great Lakes Goat Dairy branded Herb & Garlic Goat Cheese, sold in 175 gram plastic-sealed packages with a best-before date code of 2022 JL12, and Great Lakes Goat Dairy branded Aged Cheddar Goat Cheese, sold in 175 gram plastic-sealed packages with a best-before date code of 2022 JL26. FSA in the UK reports that Lidl recalled Deluxe Stuffed Dates due to Salmonella

The FSA reported that Lidl (Great Britain Limited, a London, England establishment, and subsidiary of Lidl of Stiftung & Co KG of Neckarsulm, Baden-Wüttenberg, Germany) is recalling Deluxe Stuffed Dates because Salmonella has been found in the product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores selling this product.
