Great Lakes Goat Dairy brand Herb & Garlic Goat Cheese and Aged Cheddar Goat Cheese recalled in Canada due to Listeria monocytogenes

According to the CFIA, Great Lakes Goat Dairy (Wyoming, Ontario) recalls Great Lakes Goat Dairy branded Herb & Garlic Goat Cheese and Great Lakes Goat Dairy branded Aged Cheddar Goat Cheese products from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The CFIA Agency’s inspection activities triggered this recall. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. The recalled products are Great Lakes Goat Dairy branded Herb & Garlic Goat Cheese, sold in 175 gram plastic-sealed packages with a best-before date code of 2022 JL12, and Great Lakes Goat Dairy branded Aged Cheddar Goat Cheese, sold in 175 gram plastic-sealed packages with a best-before date code of 2022 JL26.
