CFIA reported that La Bella Contadina Burrata Bufala Cheese was Recall due to Listeria monocytogenes

According to the CFIA, Fruiterie Milano (Montreal, Quebec) has recalled La Bella Contadina branded Burrata Nadi Con Latte Di Bufala Cheese from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The CFIA reports that La Bella Contadina branded Burrata Nadi Con Latte Di Bufala Cheese, sold in 200-gram packages with a batch/lot of L21175, a date code of 21/07/21, is the recalled product.  The La Bella Contadina branded Burrata Nadi Con Latte Di Bufala Cheese were marketed, distributed, and sold in Quebec. However, it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. Salmonella Typhimurium in BrightFarms Sunny Crunch Salad (July 2021)

With the CDC and local partners, the FDA announced that they are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium linked to the consumption of BrightFarm Sunny Crunch Salad. The product was produced in the firm’s Rochelle, IL facility. The products were distributed in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Indiana. In Israel Buza ice cream recalled products due to Listeria monocytogenes

The Israeli ministry of Health of Israel reported that The Buza Company (Kibbutz Sasa) had recalled its ice cream because tests performed at the company’s factory showed positive results for Listeria monocytogenes, in some samples. 5000 Years Foods, Inc. recall cabbage Kimchi due to Listeria monocytogenes

The FDA reported that 5000 years Food Inc. (Illinois) recalled sliced cabbage Kimchi, whole cabbage Kimchi, Julrado whole cabbage Kimchi, Julrado sliced cabbage Kimchi, No MDG whole cabbage Kimchi, No MDG sliced cabbage Kimchi, No MSG Julrado whole cabbage Kimchi, No MSG Julrado sliced cabbage Kimchi, White Kimchi, and Baby NAPA Kinchi due to Listeria monocytogenes. The product was distributed in Illinois, the product might have been further distributed, and it reached customers through distributors to retail stores, potentially nationwide. The recalled product was sold in 5GAL plastic tubs and 128 oz, 64 oz, 32 oz, & 16 oz glass jars under the 5000 Years Foods brand name. No illnesses have been reported.
