The FDA changed the Core table Name to Outbreak Investigation & Safety Advisories. The October 09, 2024 update: the table of outbreaks and safety advisories includes nine activities. A new outbreak of Salmonella Liverpool (ref #1265) linked to a product that has not yet been identified has been added to the table. The outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 (ref #1249) was linked to an unidentified product, so the FDA initiated a sample collection. The outbreak of Cyclospora cayetanensis illnesses (ref #1245) is linked to a product that has not yet been identified, and the case count has increased from 60 to 61. The investigation of illnesses (ref #1233) linked to Diamond Shruumz-brand Chocolate Bars, Cones, and Gummies as of September 27, 2024, a total of 175 illnesses* have been reported from 33 states; 70 have been hospitalized, and there are three potentially associated deaths. @ https://www.fda.gov/food/outbreaks-foodborne-illness/investigations-foodborne-illness-outbreaks?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery
