More Jif peanut butter recalls: Albanese Confectionery Group recalls select products

The FDA reported that Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. (Merrillville, Indiana) recalled Albanese® Mini and Giant Peanut Butter Cups because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. This recall directly results from the J.M. Smucker Co. Jif® Peanut Butter recall.  The products were not manufactured onsite at Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. No illnesses have been reported. The products were distributed nationwide and reached consumers through select retail stores.
