Kayem Foods Inc. (Chelsea, Mass.) is recalling 1,584,361 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) meat and poultry products because they may have experienced temperature abuse during storage, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The RTE meat and poultry products were produced approximately March 31, 2026, to October 7, 2026. The products were shipped to retail and foodservice locations nationwide and in Hong Kong. The problem was discovered after Kayem Foods received a retail customer complaint regarding warm product temperatures at the point of delivery on October 1, 2026. The company investigated and determined that they stored various RTE meat and poultry products in a warehouse cooler that experienced temperature deviations. No confirmed reports of illness have been linked to consuming these products. Consumers should throw away these products or return them to the place of purchase. @ https://www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls-alerts/kayem-foods-inc--recalls-meat-and-poultry-products-due-possible-temperature-abuse
