In Northern Ireland, the FSA had issued several “do not eat” warnings for Macroom Buffalo Cheese Products: Macroom Buffalo Cheese Mozzarella (125 gr) and Macroom Buffalo Cheese Bocconcini (160 gr) because Listeria monocytogenes has been found in the products. Both products have a use-by date of September 7, 2026. Shoppers in Northern Ireland are being urged to check their fridges. Macroom Buffalo is the first home to Ireland’s largest herd of water buffalo, with the family-run business using their milk to produce a range of products. The company’s farm, based in Kilnamartyra in West Cork, is home to 700 grass-fed water buffalo and has won 27 awards since 2015. Its products are sold in major supermarkets across Ireland, including Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, Tesco, and Marks & Spencer. @ https://alerts.food.gov.uk/article/6846
