In Hong Kong, the Center for Food Safety (CFS) of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department urged the public on August 21 not to consume a batch of cheese from France due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Customers should stop using or selling the affected product immediately. The product importer is Classic Fine Foods (Hong Kong) Limited. A spokesman for the CFS said, "The CFS received a notification from the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed of the European Commission that the product was possibly contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. A preliminary investigation found that the importer had imported into Hong Kong the affected batch of the product concerned.” The importer has stopped sales, removed the affected batch of the product from shelves, and initiated a recall according to the CFS's instructions. @ https://www.cfs.gov.hk/english/press/20260821_12575.html
