The CFIA reported that it initiated a recall of Taylor Fresh Canada Foods (Toronto, Ontario), and a subsidiary of Taylor Farms Retail of Salinas, California, recalled Taylor Farms branded Sweet Kale Chopped Kits from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Salmonella contamination. The Taylor Farms branded Sweet Kale Chopped Salad Kits are sold in 340 gram cello bags. The product was sold in the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec.
