In Canada Oasis Treasures Pistachio Dubai Chocolate recalled due to Salmonella

The CFIA and Palm Bites Canada (the chocolate manufacturer) have issued a voluntary recall for Oasis Treasures-brand Pistachio Dubai Chocolate due to the potential contamination with Salmonella. Palm Bites Canada says the recall affects a “small batch” of 810 units from one day’s production. The company said they voluntarily recalled the product after the risk was detected during routine testing.  The CFIA says that the affected products include chocolates sold at Showcase stores. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product. The product was distributed online in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Labrador, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.
