The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with Cassis et Mélisse ( 212, rang de la Pointe-Lévis, Saint-Damien-de-Buckland), advised the public not to consume Mooncake Cheese, as the food may contain Listeria monocytogenes. Mooncake Cheese was offered for sale until July 10, 2024. The product was vacuum-packed in clear plastic wrap and sold refrigerated.
