In Canada, Enfamil Nutramigen A+ LGG Hypoallergenic (infant formula) was recalled due to the presence of Cronobacter sakazakii

The CFIA reported that Enfamil Nutramigen A+ LGG Hypoallergenic (infant formula) was recalled due to the presence of Cronobacter sakazakii. Mead Johnson Nutrition (Canada) Co. triggered the recall of the product. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. The CFIA reported that 561-gram containers of the powdered formula with the UPC 0 56796 00498 2 and 0 56796 00498 5 may be contaminated with Cronobacter sakazakii. A recall notice was posted on Enfamil’s website, and it states the containers were distributed primarily in July and August 2023.
