In Canada, D. Effe T. brand Lemon Delight and Tartlet with Forest Fruits recalled due to Salmonella

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) reported that the D. Effe T. brand Lemon Delight and Tartlet with Forest Fruits were recalled because of their link to a Salmonella illness. The recall is related to a larger outbreak of Salmonella illnesses linked to Sweet Cream brand mini pastries. The D. Effe T. brand Lemon Delight was sold in 1180 g (1 box of 9 pieces), and Tartlet with forest fruits 1170 g (1 box of 9 pieces). There has been one reported illness that may be associated with the consumption of these products. The recall affects products distributed in Ontario and includes all best-before dates up to and including December 11, 2025.
