The CFIA reported that the food recall warning issued on 2024-10-16 has been updated to include additional distribution/product information. This additional information was identified during the CFIA food safety investigation. The recalled products are being removed from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. The recalling companies include Wagener’s Meat Products, Coppa’s King City, Village Bake Shop, Glogowski euro food, Staropolskie Delikatesy, Starsky Fine Foods (Hamilton, Mississauga), and Nika Deli (Welland Farmer’s Market).
