Illinois Arby’s restaurant linked to 92 norovirus cases closed through the end of March

The State Journal Register reported that Illinois health officials reported that 92 cases of norovirus had been linked to the Arby's restaurant on Dirksen Parkway in Springfield, Illinois. As a result, the fast-food restaurant has voluntarily closed. Sangamon County Department of Public Health director Gail O'Neill confirmed that the outbreak resulted from norovirus; consequently, the restaurant needs to undergo a deep cleaning and that employee needs to be trained. This outbreak wasn't the first time this Arby's closed due to norovirus.
