Fullei Fresh Recalls Organic Bean Sprouts Due to Listeria monocytogenes

Fullei Fresh of Miami, Florida recalled Organic Bean Sprouts because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Organic Bean Sprouts were shipped to Whole Foods Markets in Florida and Freedom Fresh (a Miami distributor) on February 18, 2019. The product is packaged as 4 oz. in plastic clamshells. There are currently no reports of illnesses associated with the product. Fullei Fresh of Miami, Florida is voluntarily recalling Organic Bean Sprouts because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
