CORE update of November 22, 2023

CORE update of November 22, 2023: the CORE list of outbreaks and adverse events includes seven activity cases and two new outbreaks. The outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes (ref #989) has been linked to peaches, plums, and nectarines. The FDA’s investigation is ongoing. Two new outbreaks were added to the table. A new outbreak of Salmonella Sundsvall (ref #1203) linked to cantaloupe has been added to the table. Another new outbreak of Salmonella Newport in a not yet identified food had been added to the table.
