Core update August 3, 2022: another Cyclospora outbreak added to the table

The FDA updated the Core table. A new outbreak has been added to the table: Cyclospora in a not yet identified food. Traceback has been initiated. The Cyclospora outbreak reported last week remains with an unidentified vehicle; the number of cases has increased from 51 to 60, and sample collection and analysis have been initiated. The FDA closed the investigation for Salmonella Paratyphi B var. L(+) tartrate+ outbreak. The food associated with the outbreak remains unknown. The FDA also closed the investigation for the Listeria monocytogenes outbreak; the food associated with the outbreak remains unknown. The number of cases of the Salmonella Braenderup outbreak has increased from 70 to 74.
