The CORE update list of outbreaks and adverse events includes eleven postings. The outbreak of Salmonella Richmond (ref #1345), linked to Moringa Leaf Powder, has prompted the FDA to issue an advisory. According to the CDC, 9 of the 10 people interviewed (90%) reported eating powdered dietary supplements. Six of these people reported eating Member’s Mark Super Greens Powder. Three people reported other products containing moringa leaf powder. Three people were hospitalized. States with Cases are FL, KS, MI, NY, NC, SC, and VA.
