CORE update as of January 18, 2023

The CORE list of outbreaks and adverse events as of January 18, 2023, has shrunk to only two. An outbreak advisory was issued linked to Listeria monocytogenes in Enoki mushrooms (reference # 1127). The other outbreak on the list is from December 30, 2022. The FDA issued an advisory for an outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium (reference #1137) linked to alfalfa sprouts.
