As of September 6, 2024, a total of 65 people were infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella from nine states. Illnesses started from May 23, 2024, to August 10, 2024. Of the 63 people with information available, 24 have been hospitalized, and no deaths have been reported. The outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 (ref #1249) is not yet linked to an identified product. The case count has increased from 26 to 27. The outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes (ref #1247) is not yet linked to an identified product. The case count has increased from 3 to 4. The outbreak of Cyclospora cayetanensis illnesses (ref #1245) not yet linked to an identified product, the case count has increased from 50 to 54. The outbreak of Cyclospora cayetanensis illnesses (ref #1237) is not yet linked to an identified product, FDA has initiated inspections. The outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium (ref #1234) is not yet linked to an identified product.
