Carleton Mushroom recalls sliced mushroom products due to Listeria monocytogenes in Canada

According to the CFIA, Carleton Mushroom (Osgoode, Ontario) has recalled Sliced White Mushrooms prepared for Metro Brands from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results.

The recalled product has been sold in Ontario and Quebec. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product. The recalled product includes Carleton branded Mushrooms Sliced White, sold in 227 gram trays, and Mushrooms Sliced Cremini, sold in 227 gram trays.
