Brandt sausage recalled by CFIA due to Listeria monocytogenes concerns

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced that G. Brandt Meat Packers Ltd., in Mississauga, Ont., recalled Brandt brand mini spicy cheese sausage due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product recalled is Brandt "mini spicy cheese sausage," in 0.375 kg packages, with a UPC of 773321 206306 and a "Best Before" date of 20AU20. The product was sold in Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan. The products were sold in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. CFIA test results triggered the recall.
