Blueberry recall update in 4 States, FDA risk upgraded to Class I

Multiple cases and containers of frozen blueberries sold across 4 U.S. states, which the firm Oregon Potato Company voluntarily recalled on February 12, 2026, were issued the highest, most serious risk classification by the FDA on February 24, 2026. The FDA has upgraded a voluntary recall of over 55,000 pounds of frozen blueberries to a Class I risk. The blueberries were recalled because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The FDA states that the blueberries were not sold at retail and were distributed to customers in four U.S. states (Michigan, Oregon, Washington, and Wisconsin) and also in some parts of Canada. @ https://www.newsweek.com/blueberry-recall-update-four-states-fda-risk-level-listeria-11579545
