As a ripple effect of the FDA recall: in Canada Jif Peanut Butters were also recalled due to Salmonella

The CFIA reported the recall by Smucker Foods of Canada Corp. of Jif brand Peanut Butters from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination. The FDA recall in the US triggered the recall. The recalled products have been sold nationally and online.
