Arizona dispensaries recalling marijuana products due to Salmonella, and Aspergillus contamination

The Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) announced a voluntary recall of Cannabis resin, concentrate, and trim across Arizona after laboratory tests discovered Aspergillus and Salmonella in the products. The products being recalled are all from the same cultivator Cannabist. The recalled products include Caps Frozen Lemon, Twisted Lemonz, and Ghost Train Haze as live resin and concentrate, which all tested positive for Salmonella, and Cherry Punch in plant and trim form, which tested positive for Aspergillus. AZDHS laboratory auditors discovered that a licensed marijuana testing laboratory reported potential false negative results for contaminants. In recent months, cannabis products have been recalled for Salmonella and Aspergillus contamination in several states, including California, Michigan, Florida, Canada, and previously in Arizona. No illnesses associated with these products have been reported yet to the health department. @ https://www.tucsonsentinel.com/local/report/061423_pot_recall/az-dispensaries-recalling-marijuana-products-over-salmonella-aspergillus-contamination/
