The recalled products include "Cucumber Coins" (sliced cucumbers) under the "Snack Buddies" brand, "Cucumber Spears", and "Cucumber Diced" in 5-pound trays. The recall was initiated on December 2, 2024, and the FDA classified it as a Class I recall. The packages of cucumbers were initially recalled last month amid fears they may be contaminated with Salmonella. Now, the FDA officials have assessed the nature of the threat posed by eating the products and ruled that the risk is severe.
