King Arthur Flour Company Recalled Organic Coconut Flour

King Arthur Flour Company recalled 6,300 cases of Organic Coconut Flour after one pouch of the flour tested positive for Salmonella. The recalled Organic Coconut Flour was distributed through retailers and distributors nationwide. Poppies International Recalled Belgian Custard Cream Mini Eclairs Due to Listeria monocytogenes

Poppies International, Inc. of Battleboro, NC recalled selected products that were made during March 5-9, 2018 because they might to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The recall was a result of a routine sampling program by the company which revealed that finished product ran on the same line contained the bacteria. The company did not release any product that tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes and as a precautionary measure is recalling all products running on the line during that production week. Poppies International, Inc. of Battleboro, NC is issuing a voluntary recall of selected products that were made during March 5-9, 2018 because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short term symptoms such as fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

Frozen Vegetable Plant Reopens After Being Linked to Listeria Two Years Ago

A former Pasco, WA vegetable processing plant once owned by CRF Frozen Foods, will reopen in spring under new ownership (Simplot RDO) and a new name following last year shutdown due to Listeria outbreak. The plant closed in April 2016 after CRF recalled hundreds of products sold by dozens of brands, prompting a series of secondary recalls of products made with the recalled frozen vegetables. The company’s frozen corn and peas were contaminated with the same strain of Listeria monocytogenes that had infected people in at least three states. A single lot of Rad Cat Raw Diet Free-Range Chicken Best by Date: 10/19/18, was shipped to distributors in May 2017 in CA, MN, OH, OR, PA, and RI. Two tabs of the product tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes in random government testing according to FDA and the Ohio Department of Agriculture. All samples tested negative for E.
