New York Wholesale Group recalls Zaarah dietary supplement products due to elevated levels of lead and arsenic

The FDA reported that the New York Wholesale Group (Hicksville, NY) recalled  Zaarah Herbals Rasayan Churan, Zaarah Herbals Gurmar Powder, Zaarah Herbals Vasaka Powder, and Zaarah Herbals Bhringraj Powder to the consumer/user level due to elevated levels of lead and arsenic. Zaarah Herbals products were distributed to retailers located in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and California between 12/20/2024 and 01/07/2025. The recalled products are packaged in clear 100g (3.5oz) jars with a gold lid. The name of the product is prominently displayed on the front of the jars. No illnesses have been reported to date. New York Wholesale Group of Hicksville, NY is recalling Zaarah Herbals Rasayan Churan, Zaarah Herbals Gurmar Powder, Zaarah Herbals Vasaka Powder, and Zaarah Herbals Bhringraj Powder to the consumer/user level because it has the potential to be contaminated with elevated levels of lead and arsenic.
