In New Zealand, Deep Green Garlic, Sprouted Moong, and Surti Undhiu Mix were recalled due to Salmonella

New Zealand Food Safety reported that as of September 16, Deep brand Green Garlic with a use-by date of November 20, 2026, was recalled due to the possible presence of Salmonella. On August 28, 2025, Vimms Enterprise Limited recalled Deep brand Sprouted Mat, Sprouted Moong, and Surti Undhiu Mix due to the possible presence of Salmonella. 16 September 2025: This recall has been updated to include Deep brand Green Garlic with a Use by of 29 NOV 2026 due to the possible presence of Salmonella. 28 August 2025: Vimms Enterprise Limited is recalling all batches and all dates of Deep brand Sprouted Mat, Sprouted Moong, and Surti Undhiu Mix due to the possible presence of Salmonella.
