In Ireland, Toons Bridge Dairy Ricotta & Buffalo Ricotta Cheeses were recalled due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes

The FSAI reported that it has recalled batches of ricotta and buffalo cheeses due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The Toons Bridge Dairy Ricotta & Buffalo Ricotta cheeses are being recalled due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. Two batches each of Toons Bridge's Dairy Ricotta and Dairy Buffalo Ricotta are affected by the recall. Two batches each of Toons Bridge's Dairy Ricotta and Dairy Buffalo Ricotta are affected by the recall. The Toons Bridge Dairy Ricotta is packaged in 200g and 1kg pack sizes, with use by dates of 28/08/2025, 29/08/2025, 30/08/2025, 31/08/2025, 01/09/2025, 04/09/2025, and 05/09/2025. The Toons Bridge Dairy Buffalo Ricotta, available in 200g and 1kg pack sizes with the following use-by dates, has also been recalled: 28/08/2025, 29/08/2025, 30/08/2025, 01/09/2025, 04/09/2025, and 05/09/2025.
