The FSA reported that Ballymaguire Foods is recalling various brands of prepared meals and side dishes because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes. The recall comes after an adult in the Republic of Ireland died following an outbreak of listeriosis linked to a recall of 141 different ready-made meals sold in major retail supermarkets. A large variety of meals and side dishes are impacted by the recall, including chicken pasta bakes, turkey and ham dinners, spaghetti bolognese, beef stroganoff, chicken carbonara, beef lasagne, pilaf rice, and more. The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is investigating an outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes. 141 products are being recalled due to their link to the outbreak. Brands Impacted: The recall encompasses products sold under various brands, including retailers' brands such as Tesco, SuperValu, and Centra.
