In Hong Kong, the Center for Food Safety (CFS) of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department reported on July 29, urging the public not to consume a batch of imported prepackaged salami, as the product might have been contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled product is Primo Reserve Hot Sopressa Salami, with a pack size of 80 grams, and is from Australia. A spokesman for the CFS said, "The CFS, through its Food Incident Surveillance System, noted a notification from the Singapore Food Agency that the product might have been contaminated by Salmonella and is being recalled. Upon learning of the incident, the CFS immediately followed up on the case. A preliminary investigation found that the above-mentioned distributor had sold the affected product." The distributor has stopped sales, removed the affected product from shelves, and has initiated a recall according to the CFS's instructions. @ https://www.cfs.gov.hk/english/press/20250729_11720.html
