The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) in Hong Kong reported on August 15, urging the public not to consume two kinds of soft cheese imported from France due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The trade should stop using or selling the affected products immediately if they possess any of them. "The CFS received a notification from the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed of the European Commission that the products are being recalled in France due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Upon learning of the incident, the CFS immediately contacted local importers to follow up," a spokesman for the CFS said. The importers (Maxly Food Company Limited, Akiten Limited, and Ferrarini Pacific Limited) are concerned and, therefore, have stopped sales and removed from shelves the affected batches of the products. @ https://www.cfs.gov.hk/english/press/20250815_11765.html
