In Canada, various pistachio-containing products have been recalled due to Salmonella

In Canada, the outbreak of Salmonella in pistachio-containing products continues. This recall was triggered by findings from the CFIA's investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak. The outbreak has resulted in multiple recalls across Canada. As of August 25, there have been 62 illnesses associated with this outbreak, affecting British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. Of these illnesses, 10 have resulted in hospitalizations.
