In Canada, the Shaikh Al Kar brand Tahini was recalled due to Salmonella

The CFIA triggered a recall of Shaikh Al Kar brand Tahini due to potential Salmonella contamination. Test results by CFIA showed a positive Salmonella result. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product. The recall is for the 400 g size of Tahini with a best before date of August 12, 2026. The Tahini was distributed in British Columbia. This recall is the latest of the company’s recalled products.
