On Sept.19, 2025 the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal and the company Pâtisserie Kol Chkor (1560 Dudemaine Street, in Montreal), is warning the public not to consume various pastry products containing raw pistachios, in all their forms, sold exclusively between April 28 and September 5, 2025, due to Salmonella.
