The CFIA reported that Chaeban Ice Cream (Winnipeg, Manitoba) recalled Chaeban branded Mediterani Mascarpone Fresh Soft Cheese from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected generic Escherichia Coli ("E. Coli"). The following Fresh Soft Cheese is subject to this recall: Chaeban branded Mediterani Mascarpone Fresh Soft Cheese, sold in 250 gram plastic tubs with a best-before date code of .25 AU 01, a batch/lot of 2025050201 and a UPC of 6 28011 03061 0.
