In Quebec, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal and the company Ô Nature (1376 Mont-Royal Avenue East, Montreal), advises the public not to consume natural, unshelled pistachios and pistachio powder due to potential Salmonella contamination. The warning follows food product recalls issued by the CFIA, due to a national outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to contaminated pistachios distributed to various establishments across Canada. The recalled products by Ô Nature are Natural raw pistachios without shells, 80 g and 250 g, with an expiry date of January 2027, and Pistachio powder 50 g, with an expiry date of November 2027. Raw, natural, unshelled pistachios, previously warned about, were offered for sale until September 18, 2025. The warning has now been expanded to include pistachio powder as well. All affected products were packaged in sealed plastic bags and stored at room temperature. @ https://www.quebec.ca/nouvelles/actualites/details/mise-a-jour-avis-de-ne-pas-consommer-de-pistaches-et-de-la-poudre-de-pistaches-vendues-par-lentreprise-o-nature-66072
