The Belgium Colruyt Best Prices, Okay, and Comarché, in collaboration with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (AFSCA), are withdrawing chipolatas from sale due to possible Salmonella contamination, the Colruyt Group announced on Friday. Several discount supermarkets (Colruyt Meilleurs Prix, Okay, and Comarché) recalled various Chpolata sausages due to Salmonella. The recalled products are Chipolata ± 350 g, Chipolata ± 490 g, Okay Chipolatas ± 500 g, and Okay Chipolata BBQ 2 x ± 250 g. Microbiological testing at the supplier, Belki, showed the possible presence of Salmonella in samples of the products Chipolata (± 350 g), Chipolata (± 490 g), Okay Chipolatas (± 500 g), and Okay Chipolata barbecue BBQ 2 x (± 250 g) with a best-before date of 10/6/2025.
